Unique GSS ozone sensor technology

Aeroqual ozone sensors provide high accuracy and precision at an affordable price. The OZL (0-0.5 ppm) and OZU (0-0.15 ppm), and OZS (0-0.05 ppm) sensors all use Aeroqual’s proprietary gas sensitive semiconductor (GSS) sensors which incorporate a dynamic baseline adjustment to reduce sensor drift. These sensors provide analyzer-like performance, with 1ppb detection limits, yet cost as much as 4-5 times less then the most cost effective ozone analyzers on the market.

All of our Aeroqual Ambient Ozone Monitors have been designed to be compatible with multiple sensors – either sensor heads or sensor modules. There is a long list of sensors to choose from – several different ozone sensors plus a whole range of gases incl. CO, CO2, VOCs, and SO2. This let you expand your monitor from ozone only to a multi-purpose air quality instrument.

Electrochemical ozone sensors for fast response

Our EOZ sensor (0-10 ppm) incorporates a Kalman filter and advanced signal processing to give excellent linearity across the entire range. The logged value updates every 4 seconds making this sensor an excellent choice for leak detection and health and safety monitoring where the user is moving quickly between locations. Because the sensors can be swapped in and out – most monitors can harness both ozone sensor technologies in the same device.

Our portable Aeroqual Ambient Ozone Monitors can measure up to 5 different ozone ranges, depending on your requirements. All our ozone sensors are made by Aeroqual using unique Gas Sensitive Semiconductor (GSS) technology. Aeroqual’s GSS technology allows ppb level detection of ozone with high accuracy and stability. *In response to requests for an ozone sensor with a wide range and fast speed response, Aeroqual introduced an electromechanical ozone sensor head. The 0 – 10ppm Gas Sensitive Electrochemical (GSE) type is a wide range ozone sensor head with a fast speed response and good accuracy. It is ideal for process control applications and industrial health & safety monitoring where VOCs may be present and ozone measurements below 0.1ppm is not required.

The Series 200 portable Aeroqual Ambient Ozone Monitor is a cost-effective monitor compatible with 4 ranges of ozone sensor as well as a temperature and humidity sensor, if required. It is an entry level device designed for spot checking ozone concentrations in a variety of applications. The display can be configured to show the real-time ozone concentration or to display the minimum, maximum and average readings. Ozone concentrations can be displayed in either ppm or mg/m3. The meter is also supplied with a long life lithium battery which has over 8 hours of battery life and a recharge time of 2 hours.

The Series 200 can be fitted with any of the sensor heads listed under the Sensors tab. Because the calibration data is stored in the sensor head, the process of swapping sensor heads is extremely quick and can be done by anyone anywhere. It also makes recalibration and servicing easy – simply return the sensor head to the factory or purchase a new one. The Ozone meter also has an inbuilt option to zero calibrate the installed sensor head to maintain data accuracy between recalibration intervals.

The Series 300 Portable Aeroqual Ambient Ozone Monitor is a versatile monitor with the ability to accurately measure 4 different ranges of ozone sensor as well as temperature and relative humidity, if required. It is designed for ozone monitoring and control in a variety of applications. Ozone concentrations can be displayed in either ppm or mg/m3 on the large LCD display. There are also user defined high and low alarm set points which will trigger an audible alarm when the ozone concentration exceeds the set point.

A key feature of the Series 300 Portable Ozone Monitor is the ability to operate in control mode. Upper and lower control limits can be easily set directly on the display. Using the 0-5V output the Series 300 can be used to switch on or off an externally connected device, such as an ozone generator, or system in the presence of a predetermined level of gas. By selecting the optional wall-mount bracket and plugging in mains power the Series 300 is effectively able to act as a fixed monitor as well as a handheld portable device.

For those wanting to recalibrate in the field the Series 300 allows adjustment of zero and span. Together with the R42 Calibration Accessory and an ozone generator this function allows the sensor head to be fully recalibrated without having to return it to the factory. The Series 500 portable Aeroqual Ambient Ozone Monitor enables accurate real-time measurement of ozone in air. Data is stored on board the Series 500 with a maximum 8,188 records available. To download the data a USB cable is supplied for connection to PC. Free PC software provided with the Series 500 takes the data and presents it in a chart or table view. Data can be downloaded and viewed in Excel.

SM70 fixed Ozone monitor

Our SM70 Fixed Aeroqual Ambient Ozone Monitor Indoor Air Quality Monitors are low cost and feature-packed designed for a wide range of indoor and industrial applications. The gas monitors come with an integrated LCD display, RS232 and RS485, 0-5V outputs and audible alarm, which can be configured to a user defined set point. They also come with a 12VDC power supply that plugs directly into the monitor and mains power allowing for easy set up and installation.

The gas sensor board is factory set to one of three optional firmware settings to control the relay and alarm functionality:

Alarm above (AA) – The relay is programmed to energise above your defined set point. Typical applications include health and safety alarm warning systems and switching external equipment on and off.
Alarm below (AB) – The relay is programmed to energize below your defined set point. Typical applications include fail safe warning systems and control of an ozone generator.
Control 10% (C10) – The relay is programmed to open and close ±10% within your defined control band. Typical applications include maintaining a specific gas concentration between user defined levels via the control of an external device e.g. an ozone generator.

The ozone sensors available for this product can be seen in the sensors tab. They use Aeroqual designed Gas Sensitive Semiconductor sensors for improved accuracy and measurement. The gas sensor modules can be easily replaced with a new module when calibration is due.

The Series 930 Fixed Aeroqual Ambient Ozone Monitor Instrument is a flexible monitor compatible with 4 ranges of ozone sensor as well as a temperature and humidity sensor, if required. The sensor is housed in a robust IP41/NEMA 2 rated water resistant enclosure protecting it from water damage. There is also the option to include an integrated display for reporting real-time ozone concentrations and/or an optional strobe and siren kit which can be configured to activate to a user defined set point.

The Series 930 Ozone Monitoring Instrument outputs are designed to measure and control ozone concentrations and communicate to a variety of hardware systems. The monitor can operate in three ways:

As a relay controller via the integrated relays and user configurable set points to control an external device such as an ozone generator or initiate an alarm.
As an ozone transmitter via the 4-20 mA output which allows connection to a PLC or current sensing device to provide ozone concentration information for applications such as health and safety monitoring.
As an ozone network via the RS485 digital output to enable ozone monitoring at several indoor locations with information being logged to a central point.

The Series 930 Ozone Monitoring Instrument is easy to install due to the lightweight enclosure and provided wall mounting kit. It requires a 24V power supply which is user supplied to allow flexibility in locations it can be installed. The sensor heads are simple to replace and can be sent back to Aeroqual for recalibration. There is also free to download configuration and networking software available under the downloads tab. The configuration software allows for quick and easy configuration of the alarm and control set points. The networking software can be used to log data from a network of monitors to a single PC.
