Iwaki magnetic drive pump

The Iwaki Magnetic Drive Pump, a pump renowned for their longevity and consistent performance even in the most demanding corrosive and abrasive applications.

Pure Aquatics most often utilises the MD and MX range of Iwaki magnetic drives but offers all of the pump ranges from Iwaki pumps including:

MD

MX

MXM

MDM

SMX

MDE

MDW

The Iwaki Magnetic Drive Pump MD series are smallest capacity magnetic drive centrifugal pumps in the Iwaki range. Quality however, is not compromised and the reliability of this series in O.E. applications is legendary.

Materials
Glass filled polypropylene wetted parts with ceramic shaft & filled PTFE bearings are standard. For stronger chemicals, selected models are available with optional virgin PVdF or carbon fibre reinforced ETFE fluoropolymer and SiC ceramic parts for resistance to nearly all industrial chemicals.

Connections
All models are available with hose type connections as standard
Optional threaded connections are available
PP self priming chamber kits are available for models MD30R / 40R / 70R

Capacities
22 models cover transfer capacities up to 135 litres/minute
Maximum heads are up to 11.7m

Other Notes
Iwaki purpose-built motors are used on all single phase models. Larger models are available with either factory fitted or optional IP55 rated three phase industrial motors.

The Iwaki Magnetic Drive Pump MX & MX-F series are medium capacity industrial magnetic drive centrifugal pumps available in two material configurations to cover a wide range of industrial chemicals.

Materials
Glass filled polypropylene wetted parts with ceramic shaft & high density carbon bearings. For stronger chemicals, carbonfibre reinforced ETFE fluoropolymer and alumina ceramic parts are used for resistance to nearly all industrial chemicals

Resistance to abnormal or improper operation
All models have Iwaki’s patented Non-Contact System & Self Radiation bearing structure for greatly increased tolerance to improper operation such as short term dry running and cavitation.

Connections
For stronger chemicals, carbonfibre reinforced ETFE fluoropolymer, alumina ceramic & SiC parts are used for resistance to nearly all industrial chemicals. All Australian versions have flanged connections as standard, which can be readily removed should threaded connections be preferred.

Capacities
Five models cover transfer capacities up to 500 litres/minute. Maximum heads are up to 28m.

Motors
All models are fitted with standard IP66 rated outdoor industrial motors.
