NP Discfilter ? Type T (Standard Tank)

The Type T Discfilter is a free-standing unit with a fully enclosed stainless steel tank, GRP cover, and built-in emergency bypass. It is specifically optimised for particle removal in recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) recirculation loops where compact footprint and low reject water volume are critical.

Available Sizes

Units can be delivered with fewer discs installed (blanking plates replace unused disc segments) ? price reduction of 16,000 SEK per disc removed. Discs can be added later as production scales up.

Why the Discfilter for RAS?

• 3? more filter area than a drum filter of equivalent footprint ? enables finer cloth (30?50 ?m vs 60 ?m typical for drum filters)
• 45% less reject water produced for the same solids removal ? lower energy cost and less sludge to handle
