NP Drumfilter ? Type T (Standard Tank)

The Type T Drumfilter is a free-standing unit with a fully enclosed stainless steel tank and GRP (fibreglass) cover. It includes an integral emergency bypass to protect against overloading and is ideal for above-ground or pit installations where a self-contained unit is preferred.

How it Works

Untreated water flows into the drum-shaped skeleton enclosed by external filter panels. Gravity drives the water through the filter cloth and out of the drum. As particles accumulate and resistance increases, the water level inside rises. A backwash cycle is automatically triggered: spray nozzles clean the filter cloth from the outside and reject water carrying the particles drains through an internal trough to your sludge collection system.

• Size: T602 through T1640 ? select the model that matches your required flow rate and solids load
• Filter cloth opening: 10 ?m to 100 ?m. Polyester standard; stainless steel mesh available on request
• Filter panel type: PG (polypropylene grid) or PL (8% larger open area ? faster particle removal, less water carry-over)
• Material grade: EN 1.4301 (SS304) | EN 1.4404 (SS316) | EN 1.4462 (Duplex)
• Backwash system: Fixed spray header (smaller sizes) or Moving Backwash oscillating header (standard from T1212) ? reduces backwash water by 20% and extends cloth life
• Mirror image: Available on all T-series models (+5,000 SEK)
