heading on a path via agricultural college where he would discover his life’s passion in aquaculture (that and sport of course). Since then Lindsay has been involved with the aquaculture industry for over 26 years including completion of a Masters of Applied Science in Aquaculture at the University of Tasmania. Lindsay as a director of Pure Aquatics is involved with all aspects of the business and works closely with industry and research institutions, both nationally and internationally, with experience including re-circulation system design, project management, installations, engineering, sizing, applying and general aquatic consultancy as well as product development. His work covers virtually the entire industry, including most of the commercially grown species in Australia and overseas, hatchery, grow out (indoor and outdoor) and the live seafood holding and public aquarium fields. Lindsay’s position also involves the acquisition of products by working closely with our overseas manufacturers and suppliers. Lindsay represents Pure Aquatics at conferences and trade shows on a national and international level and has forged strong business and personal relationships throughout the industry.

Francesco Rizzello (B.const,Man&arc)

Francesco is an architect with a deep connection to the south of Italy, where he was raised amidst the picturesque Mediterranean sea and the breathtaking beauty of the Italian peninsula.

Following his interior Architecture studies in Rome, Francesco embarked on a journey to excel in his field, eventually graduating in Building and Architecture management from the esteemed University of Reggio di Calabria.
Francesco’s passion lies in the realm of 3D modelling and CAD/BIM Engineering, where he showcases exceptional skills and proficiency. His expertise extends to specialised areas, particularly in RAS (Recirculating Aquaculture Systems) and aquaculture design. Through his dynamic career, Francesco has successfully managed international aquaculture tenders, leaving a positive impact on projects spanning across the sector.

As an integral part of Pure Aquatics, Francesco’s role encompasses system design, along with providing comprehensive customer and technical support. His dedication and profound knowledge make him an invaluable asset to the company, ensuring that clients receive top-notch assistance at every step of the way.
His creative flair and unwavering commitment to excellence set a high standard for the team, contributing to Pure Aquatics’ continued success and growth.
