The Mirafeed 100 is Innovaqua’s entry point into precise automatic feeding — and for hatchery managers, it is one of the most important pieces of equipment in the facility. Engineered specifically for the feeding of larvae and early fry, this unit handles the full range of micro-diet feed types including powdered feeds, crumbled diets, and microencapsulated products from 50 microns up to 2mm pellet size.
Key design features address the real-world challenges of hatchery feeding. An integrated low-pressure air blower keeps feed dry in high-humidity environments, preventing caking and bridging that can cause blockages and uneven dosing. The unit is built for easy cleaning and simple daily operation, minimising downtime in busy production environments.
The Mirafeed 100 operates on safe 24VAC voltage and is compatible with Innovaqua’s full range of accessories including 3L and 5L hoppers, flour and pellet spreaders, and conversion kits that allow transformation to Mirafeed 300 or 700 configuration as fish grow. This protects your investment and simplifies spare parts inventory across a facility.
When paired with the Innovaqua Miranda control system, the Mirafeed 100 can be remotely programmed and monitored. Set individual feeding windows, dose frequency, and dose duration to 0.1-second resolution for each feeder. Miranda’s dedicated Feeder Module supports larvae-specific feeding protocols using tank volume and days post-hatching (dph) calculations, and integrates with temperature and dissolved oxygen probes to dynamically adjust feeding rates based on real-time water quality conditions.
