Description
The Mirafeed 700 marks the step into serious production-scale automatic feeding. Designed for nursery and on-growing fish requiring pellets from 0.5mm up to 10mm, the 700 series serves the majority of commercially important finfish species through their grow-out phases.
Configured with the 5g dose disk (SKU: A00700051), this unit suits fish in the earlier stages of nursery and grow-out — where pellet size has grown but individual dose weights are still moderate. The Mirafeed 700 shares the core engineering strengths of the full Mirafeed range: 24VAC safe operating voltage, compact and cleanable design, and an architecture that prevents bridging and vault formation even with high-fat production pellets.
Electric and compressed air spreader options allow feed distribution to be tailored to tank size and geometry. The unit accepts 3L, 5L, and large 30L hoppers, with stainless steel and galvanised hopper support bracket options to suit different installation environments.
Paired with Innovaqua’s Miranda system, the Mirafeed 700 becomes part of a fully automated, remotely managed feeding operation. Miranda can control up to 300 Mirafeed units from a single system, with individual programming of feeding windows, dose counts, and gram-based dosing targets per tank. Integration with temperature and dissolved oxygen probes enables dynamic feeding adjustments, and complete historical data is available through Miranda’s graphical reporting interface.
Conversion kits allow the Mirafeed 700 to be reconfigured to 300 or 100 specification if production requirements change, and upgrade kits from 100 or 300 models are available to bring existing feeders up to 700 specification.
