LaMotte WaterLink® Spin Touch® — Benchtop Water Analysis System (3580-AU)

$1,974.00

The WaterLink Spin Touch 3580-AU is a fast, automated water testing system that delivers laboratory-quality results in as little as 60 seconds. Using patented SpinDisk reagent disk technology, the unit performs multiple water chemistry tests simultaneously with minimal user input.

To run a test, simply inject less than 3 mL of water into a SpinDisk, insert it into the instrument, and press start. The analyser automatically handles reagent mixing, reaction timing, and photometric measurement, displaying accurate results on the colour touchscreen — no chemistry training required.

While widely used in professional testing counters, the Spin Touch system is also highly effective for aquaculture applications, including freshwater, saltwater, and brackish systems. It allows hatcheries, aquaculture farms, and research facilities to quickly monitor key water chemistry parameters and maintain stable conditions for aquatic life.

The unit can operate as a stand-alone tester or connect via USB to WaterLink Solutions PRO for storing results, tracking water quality trends, and generating detailed reports.

SpinDisk reagent cartridges are sold separately.

Description

The LaMotte WaterLink® Spin Touch® 3580-AU is a professional benchtop water analysis system that delivers laboratory-grade water chemistry results in as little as 60 seconds. Developed by LaMotte Company and supplied in Australia by Pure Aquatics, the Spin Touch is trusted in retail pool testing counters, aquaculture farms, hatcheries, research laboratories and aquatic facilities nationwide.

Using LaMotte’s patented SpinDisk™ reagent disk technology, the system automates the entire testing process. Inject less than 3 mL of sample water into a SpinDisk, insert it into the instrument and press start — the analyser handles reagent mixing, reaction timing and photometric measurement automatically, displaying results on the colour touchscreen. No chemistry training required, no manual titration, and no operator-to-operator variation.

For aquaculture operators managing freshwater, saltwater, or brackish systems, the Spin Touch provides a rapid and repeatable way to monitor key water chemistry parameters that affect fish health, biofilter performance, and overall system stability.

Ideal for Aquaculture Monitoring

In aquaculture environments, maintaining stable water chemistry is critical to animal welfare and system efficiency. The Spin Touch system provides rapid diagnostics for daily water checks, enabling operators to identify imbalances before they affect stock.

Typical aquaculture applications include:

  • Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS) water monitoring

  • Hatchery and nursery tank testing

  • Marine, freshwater, and brackish production systems

  • Public aquarium life support systems

  • Research and aquatic science laboratories

Because the system uses sealed reagent disks and automated photometry, it provides consistent results regardless of operator experience, making it ideal for facilities with multiple staff performing routine testing.

Simple 3-Step Testing Process

  1. Fill – Inject less than 3 mL of water into the SpinDisk cartridge

  2. Insert – Place the disk into the instrument

  3. Tap Start – The analyser performs all testing automatically

Within 30–60 seconds, the system provides a full digital water analysis on the colour touchscreen display.

Smart Data Management

The instrument can operate as a stand-alone testing unit or connect to a Windows PC via USB for advanced data management through WaterLink Solutions PRO.

When connected, the software allows users to:

  • Store complete test histories

  • Track water quality trends over time

  • Generate printable reports

  • Produce treatment or adjustment recommendations

This makes the system particularly useful for aquaculture managers tracking system performance and maintaining compliance records.
