Indicative Dosage

• Start-up / Cycling:
  Dose according to system volume and biofilter size (commonly applied as an initial seeding dose, followed by repeat doses during early cycling).

• Recovery / Maintenance:
  Lower repeat doses following disruption or increased load.

Exact dosing depends on system design, temperature, salinity, and loading. Technical guidance is recommended.

Best Practice

• Dissolved oxygen > 5 mg/L

• pH ideally 7.2–8.2

• Disable UV and ozone during initial colonisation (24–72 hours)

• Maintain adequate alkalinity
