- 6″ Diameter Reaction Chamber: A uniform 6″ diameter reaction chamber gives proper flow rates and contact time, unlike cone/hourglass-shaped skimmers that reduce both.
- Counter-Current Flow: Water is sent down from the top of the reaction chamber through the rising bubbles, creating a stripping action that allows maximum soluble organic removal—superior to co-current, needle-wheel designs.
- High-Mounted Water Inlet: No more chasing a “sweet spot” sump water level or building weirs—the skimmer keeps performing even as your sump level fluctuates.
- Baffle Plates: Internal baffles stop circular swirling and create a “ladder effect”, pushing foam steadily up into the collection cup.
- Pump Outside the Skimmer: Keeping the pump out of the reaction chamber displaces less water, increases contact time, and allows a lower bubble injection point.
- Domed Lid: Foam rolls away from the centre and drips back into the collection cup instead of collapsing back into the reaction chamber, increasing collection capability.
