Founded in 1965, Mid-Lakes Corporation is a family owned manufacturer of Raschel-style knotless nylon netting used by a variety of industries and customers.
Loki nets are famous for being made in the United States as there are very few knotless netting manufacturers left in the united States.
By using conservative business practices and finding a “niche”, we have been able to survive and prosper while other American netting companies have shut down.
We have an excellent reputation in all the markets we sell to and have gained the respect of our competitors.
This is due to our unique understanding of how netting is made and how it can be fabricated successfully.
Our core product is knitted in-house under the brand name “Loki Nets” and we have four divisions:
Pure Aquatics engaged Loki Nets to produce a quality American made robust and flexible net option for the Australian aquaculture market.
Pure Aquatics have chosen features and net selections to improve the robustness and design of our Monorail nets, as well as improving flexibility for the customer.
100% U.S. MADE KNOTLESS NETTING
All Loki netting is made in our plantin Knoxville, Tenn., from 100%nylon under strict quality control conditions. The knotless netting reduces abrasion to the fish, is more durable and also absorbs preservative treatment better than knotted nets.
MONORAIL™ SYSTEM
The original mesh-guard system, Loki’s Monorail aluminum bow is used in many of our small mesh dip nets (shad, smelt, trout, bait dealer and others). Monorail prevents netting abrasion from bait tanks, rocks and sand. The net itself is encased in the bow, creating a natural guard and attractive appearance.
STRONGER CONNECTOR BLOCKS & FITTINGS
One-piece solid aluminum connector blocks are used on all Pure Aquatics Monorail Nets. Solid aluminum connector to connect 1” outside diameter (o.d.) handles. Connector Block Kit comes with two self-tapping screws, pre-drilled holes and stainless steel spring.
YOUR CHOICE OF HANDLE
Pure Aquatics Monorail nets are supplied as the net, frame and connector block so you can choose what type of handle you want to apply.
Already have a 25mm O.D. aluminum handle? Or maybe you prefer a wooden handle, just buy the net frame complete and add your handle of choice.
Or maybe you prefer a thick wall aluminum handle? Pure Aquatics can supply 3mm heavy duty aluminum handles in 500mm, 1000mm and 1500mm lengths with a 125mm long black foam hand grip.
